Kanye West Update: New Songs, New Album Title, New Girl (Video)

After a self-imposed hiatus Kanye West is once again becoming a daily fixture in the hip-hop news, and thankfully this time around it's for something other than f-ing with America's favorite white girl. In fact, over the last 24 hours this been such a flurry of major Ye news reports, I though we'd take a moment to turn RefinedHype over to Mr. West and catch up on that new new.

New Music (kind of)

In a true sign of the times and as a testament to the importance of the internets, Kanye stopped by the offices of Facebook, apparently jumped up on a table in a lunchroom and busted out a few new verses for an appreciate group of (mostly) white people, the standout of the new lyrical bursts being "Mama's Boyfriend" (video above). I can't front, Kanye's back on it lyrically. Of course we'll have to withhold judgment until we hear the beats, but consider Kanye's track record, I don't think we have to worry. More below:



New Album Title

After spazzing out about how much he hates Twitter, Kanye did a 180 and opened an official account the other day. His output so far as been a long string of shout outs (look like we've got someone new vying for "Worst Celebrity Twitters"), but in the midst of all the trash he did manage to reveal one piece of important information: "Good Ass Job" is no more. Good call, if he really did want to outsell Eminem he was going to need an album without the word "Ass" in the title. Whose got suggestions for a new album title?

New Girl

Looks like the Amber Era has finally come to an end. Maybe it's because her head tasted salty, maybe it's because he just got bored, but either way Kanye's split from Amber looks official. For his rebound chick he's scooped up some UK model named Shay who doesn't seem to have much going for her other than enormous titties (for more betterer pics of Shay click here).

Shout out to Amber, seriously. Way to go from unknown to international celebrity. She belongs in the golddigger hall of fame. I look forward to her inevitable reality show premiering on VH1 later this year.
