Kanye West, 47 Guest Artists & “All of the Lights” (Listen & Download)

It's never a good sign when you can't even name all the artists on your own track. That's exactly what happened during the premiere of Kanye's "Runaway" film when he started talking about "All of the Lights" boundary breaking roster. Ye started to list everyone set to appear on the record on his fingers, paused to think, and then got lost after four or five folks. We really shouldn't be surprised about "All of the Lights" though - Kanye's nothing if not a man of excess, so a track featuring this many guests was inevitable.

To quickly review, that beat's absolutely crazy, Kanye still can't sing, Rihanna provides the hook (and actually fits perfectly), Cudi does his usual mumble sing thing, Fergie makes me regret she's alive, Alicia Keys, John Legend, Tony Williams, Charlie Wilson and Elly Jackson do some chorus background singing, and Elton John puts in some work on the piano. Actually, it doesn't sound nearly as crazy as it looks on paper.




UPDATE: The more I think about it....Fergie? Really? Really? How the fu-schnickens did she make it on here?

For the record, I've got people insisting this is the final version, and just as many insisting it isn't. We'll just have to wait until "Beautiful Dark twisted Fantasy" drops on November 22.
