I like this. I like that it at least sticks to the subject of the song. I've seen way too many videos where someone is just standing next to a hot chick for 3 minutes. That plus more hot Rihanna makes it a good one for me. |

She says it in the song Nathan "I want you to see everything." I for one am not mad at her for keeping her word. lol |

Maybe it's because I've read 3 bad reviews that lowered my expectation before seeing this video, but I really liked it. It connected some of the lyrics that seemed random. Rihanna was just Rihanna; the sex tape will leak soon. It was perfect for the title of the song. ALL OF THE LIGHTS. He incorporated ALL the motherf*ckin lights he could figure out how to. That's Kanye's over-the-top personality. And finally, thank God Fergie was cut. Her verse marked the worst point on any of Kanye's 5 albums. I was so pissed that it came on one of his best showcases of production. |

I found myself wanting to like it for the reasons XuUP17 mentioned, but in the end that was just terrible... As for Rihanna i think she is a call girl disguised as a music artist, and i mean that quite literally |

I believe Hype was beginning to make the video very Kanye-esque then the 'Snap Yo Fingas' by Lil Jon video popped in his head and decided to give people a seizure instead. |

Hype is great at picking out good shots, and this video seems like a mix of a couple different ideas tossed into a single video. I mean, Kanye on the cop car and the entire beginning was dope. That's not to say I don't see the connection between the footage (except Rihanna and Kid CuDi who were just thrown into wherever they could fit), but yeah. All in all it's not as amazing as it could've been, but it was solid. "ALL OF THE LIGHTS. He incorporated ALL the motherf*ckin lights he could figure out how to. That's Kanye's over-the-top personality." Pretty much, lol. Also, the Power video was just flat out dope man. |

For me, and for the record I wasn't on E when I watched this, it was so overly literal for Kanye. Yeezy always pushes boundaries, but here the concept seems so obvious - "the song's called All of the Lights, how about we flash a lot of lights?" That's really no different than a rapper putting a bunch of women on hot cars for his track "Women & Hot Cars". I think we all know he's got much, much better in him. |
