Kanye, Mos Def, Swizz Beatz, Raekwon & Charlie Wilson Exclaim “Lord Lord Lord” (Listen & Download)Posted by Nathan S. on 09/20/10 | Filed under Top Stories, Downloads, Kanye West, Raekwon, Mos Def, Swizz Beatz, Good Friday, Charlie Wilson |

This week's offering, the slowly soulful "Lord, Lord, Lord", the beat for which the homey Brando pointed out sounds a lot like Nas' "Find Your Wealth", finds a subdued Mos Def actually rapping (thank sweet baby jesus), Kanye on his punchline heavy flow (that d-bag line had me laughing out loud), the broke as hell Swizz Beatz embarrassing himself with a verse, Raekwon doing what he does best and Charlie Wilson providing some smooth vocals on the end that, frankly, go on about a minute too long.
Three quick points. One, that photo's kind of creeping me out for some reason. Second, Swizzy's a terrible rapper. Just terrible. He makes Diddy sound like Nas. Why do people keep putting him on their track? Why god? Why? And last but not least, I wouldn't have thought of this before Cudi's rant against Wale on Friday, but could Kanye's "Tell em Plain Pat, yo that track sucks / we aint dissin’ you between the position you play something for us to listen to" be seen as about Wale? I'm really not stretching too hard in making that connection; Plain Pat is Cudi's manager, and during Cudi's rant he mentioned that he and Kanye hadn't heard anything from Wale that impressed them. The plot thickens.
Download links are below. And for those who want the track without Swizzy (I'd imagine everyone), here ya go.
Hallelujah! Quality music is here! Listen to the record right now below.
