Now that XV's doing the major label dance, I think we can officially declare frequent RefinedHype contributor K. Sparks the leading "wait, why the f**k isnt this dude signed?" candidate. In fact, he says so himself on his new track "Magic": "I can body rappers, so Interscope to Warner Bros., I suggest you warn your brothers." True indeed.
So what's so magical about this one? I'll let Sparks explain: "I called it 'Magic' for the simple fact that I was in a zone when I was recording this, and during those times it feels like 'Magic' in the studio. Also, that's David Blaine co-produced the track. Not really. On the real, all credit goes to Floyd Cheung. Props.
"Magic" is the last leak before Sparks upcoming mixtape "Trilogy Chapter 2" (download "Chapter 1" here) drops via the good folks at KevinNottingham.com before the end of August...hopefully. You'll also absolutely be able to hear a brand new track from the man when the "RefinedHype: 1 Year Anniversary Edition" drops Friday on the mothership.
