A lot will change in 2012 - hopefully by the time 12/31/12 rolls around no one will even remember who Kreyashawn is - but something's don't change. Just like he did in 2009, and 2010 and 2011, we can count on K. Sparks to turn out some purely dope hip-hop this year, starting with the brand new "Cotton Club".

I really shouldn't have to explain the Cotton Club reference to the fine minds of RefinedHype Nation (if you don't know Wikipedia that shit and then pretend like you knew all along) so let's just get to the music. Frequent production partner Kurser lays down a smooth as fuck, J Dilla influenced beat that Sparks First 48s with both his straightforward and double times flow. Throw in a guest verse from JAYVINE and you've got your head-nodder of the day.

Plus the man dropped one of the first computer nerd rap disses in history! "Your website crashing on the daily, what? / Like a shitty restaurant, your server sucks." Now that, my friend, is how you make nerdy rap bloggers say "oh shit!" Salute that man.
