No one should be even remotely surprised that Justin Bieber is moving into hip-hop territory, and that rappers are lining up to work with him like hookers gathered around a parked Ferrari on Hollywood & Vine. (Insider L.A. joke.) Working with the Biebster is like being connected to a human ATM, so it's no mystery why the likes of Drake, Nicki Minaj and Ludacris are slated to appear on his upcoming "Believe" album.

But 2 Chainz, Mac Miller and Asher Roth on a remix to his uber-hit single "Boyfriend"? Huh, I can't say I saw that coming...I get that there's no way any of those dudes could have said no to a verse request from the Biebs, I just can't imagine what happened in between Bieber saying "we should get some rappers for a remix to 'Boyfriend'" and The Artist Formerly Known as Tity Boi, Mac and Asher ending up on the track.

Oh well, however it happened, it happened, and now we get to hear Chainz be as ridiculous as usual, Mac Miller talk about how much money he has (not per usual), and Asher do about the best job he could have conceivably done.

It's too late at night for me to really process this. We'll see how I feel in the morning....
