Jones Andrews Says “Welcome to the Show” (Exclusive Listen & Download)

It's a simple concept, really. Every Tuesday for the next 32 weeks up-and-coming N.C. rhymespitter Jones Andrews will drop a 32 bars over 32 different beats as part of his "Thirty Two Tuesdays" series. Why 32? Numerologists consider it a very lucky number, but honestly, I don't know. What I do know is that Andrews' flows are so dope RefinedHype, along with Flight School Music, had no choice but to become the official sponsor of the series.

Last week Andrews laid waste to the lyrical landscape with this grinding cut "On the Rise", and this week he switches up his style once again, coming on a soulful tip with the melodic yet still en fuego "Welcome to the Show". Laced over the beat from Drake's "Beautiful Music" (anyone know who produced that beat), "Welcome" is a welcome introduction to Andrews' dopeness for anyone who's been sleeping on this freestyle series so far. "I had to take it to my Roots / been on a Quest for Love since I was the truth / Game Theory is full of Black Thoughts / but after hearing How I Got Over and hearin black thoughts / I feel a change coming..." Goddamn - if you're not impressed you obviously need to brush up on your Roots discography.
