Jones Andrews Knows He “Came A Long Way” (Premiere Listen & Download)

Jones Andrews Came A Long Way
It's a simple concept, really. Every Tuesday for the next 32 weeks up-and-coming N.C. rhymespitter Jones Andrews will drop a 32 bars over 32 different beats as part of his "Thirty Two Tuesdays" series. Why 32? Numerologists consider it a very lucky number, but honestly, I don't know. What I do know is that Andrews' flows are so dope RefinedHype, along with Flight School Music, had no choice but to become the official sponsor of the series.

Now that we're seventeen tracks deep in the series, it seemed only right that Andrews drop, "Came A Long Way". Produced by DJ Qvali, an international beatsmith Andrews will be working more with, "Long Way" is a sharp reminder (as if we needed one) of his lyrical abilities soaked in that real real rap sound.

Today also marks a milestone. Having wrapped the first half of "Thirty Two Tuesdays" (be on the lookout for the "Halfway Home" mixtape, dropping soon), from here on out Jones will be rhyming over original production. It's a movement.

Some ill boom boom bap plus dope real real rap equals another great track by Jones. C'mon Refinedhype nation lets stand up and show some support. We can get a million comments on a Nicki Minaj, or Soulja Boy post, but no one wants to note a quality lesser known emcee doing the thing. Yet, we want to turn around and say hip hop is dead and complain about what's played on the radio.
