Can I be honest? I like the intro I wrote for Jon Hope's last offering, "Still Breathin", so much I'm going to use it again, with a slight tweak:

"Since he doesn't release a new song every 17 minutes and is never in the news for slapping Kat Stacks, or doing blow with Kat Stacks, or really anything even remotely Stacks related, Jon Hope is one of those rappers that folks (sadly) tend to overlook, but there's no denying that when the man does drop off new music, it's always quality. Case in point, his new freEP, 'WaterFire'."

Yep, that's still a great intro. But enough about me, more about Hope. After a few dope leaks the Providence, Rhode Island emcee Jon Hope has hooked up with DJBooth.net and Vital Clothing to bring fans "WaterFire: Collection of Emotions", featuring eight new joints, each themed around a different emotion. Listen; I enjoy an ignorant banger as much as the next man, but we also need music that makes us feel good, and that's why I'll have "WaterFire" on repeat all day.

The project is produced entirely by Black Keyz Productions beatsmith Taktix and features guest appearances from Khalil and up-and-comer Lawrence “LJC” Cunningham.
