Since he doesn't release a new song every 17 minutes and is never in the news for slapping Kat Stacks, or doing blow with Kat Stacks, or really anything even remotely Stacks related, Jon Hope is one of those rappers that folks (sadly) tend to overlook, but there's no denying that when the man does drop off new music, it's always quality. Case in point, his new record "Still Breathin". Sweet baby jesus knows I can enjoy an ignorant banger as much as the next man, but sometimes it just feel good to feel good.

With Taktix providing a clapping, gospel influences and good times beat that never sounds corny and Jon doing his last name justice with some uplifting, inspirational bars, this one got me going this morning, and hopefully it'll help you get through yours. "Still Breathin" is off Hope's upcoming album "The Waterfire", dropping on the mothership in October.
