Has Ludacris’ Guest Verse Game Improved On John Legend’s “Tonight”? (Listen & Download)Posted by Danielle Harling on 01/25/12 | Filed under Downloads, Ludacris, John Legend |

I'm sure we're probably all still trying to forget that worrisome Ludacris verse on Future's "Blow." I still can't believe an average rapper like Future put in a more solid verse than Luda. But it looks like we've now got a new guest verse from Ludacris and this time it's on John Legend's "Tonight (Best You Ever Had)." Right off the bat I have to say that I don't find this song to be very enjoyable. The beat's kind of on the awful side and it really kills any interest in the song.
You have to put up with a good deal of boring singing from John Legend before you get to Ludacris' verse so try and stay strong for a few minutes. First off, Luda's verse is definitely a step up from the one featured on "Blow." It's not a great verse, but I do think it is the high point on "Tonight." Without the Luda verse I think "Tonight" would have been able to put even a 10-year-old kid high off of Pixie Stix and Skittles to sleep.
