For several years now the BET Hip Hop Awards have gone on without a hitch, but all that immediately went to hell over the weekend thanks to Young Jeezy, Rick Ross, 50 Cent, and Gunplay (who was likely completely innocent).



First off, we have the Rick Ross and Young Jeezy shoving match which certainly brings back the days of those oh so vicious and thugged out fights on the pre-school playground. Seriously though? A shoving match? Leave it to the rappers to try and harm one another with malicious hugs. And all I want to know is which camp is going to suffer from seven years of bad luck thanks to that broken mirror.



Second, we have the aftermath of Gunplay being "jumped" by alleged members of 50 Cent's entourage. Not cool Fiddy, not cool. Gunplay is clearly the coked-up sweetheart of Hip-Hop so why someone would want to inflict harm upon this Care Bear of Maybach Music Group is beyond me and truly, truly breaks my heart.

Nathan Update: Just once I want to see two rappers actually fight; you know, as opposed to yelling at each other while a combined 400 people stand in between them. As is so often the case, Young Jeezy vs. Rick Ross fight!!! should be more accurately titled "Rick Ross's Entourage vs. Young Jeezy Entourage fight!".

And as long as we're here, Gunplay gives his version of the events, and DJ Drama talks about wandering through the "fight" as well.
