Since I know essentially everyone in RefinedHype Nation listens to Big K.R.I.T., Smoke DZA, Joey Bada$$, marijuana and smoking marijuana while listening to Big K.R.I.T. live at a Smokers Club show, I'm going to let y'all in on an open secret. One man is primarily in charge of running all of it, his name is Jonny Shipes, and he's fucking crazy.

I've been working with Shipes for long enough via the mothership that I can call him fucking crazy out of love, but believe me, he wouldn't disagree. You'd be hard pressed to ever find him not wearing some crazy wigs and stoned out of his gourd, and yet he still manages to help make some of the dopest hip-hop of the last few years. Frankly I don't know how he does it, but he does it. It's impossible to argue with results.

So I thought I'd post Shipes new "Good Talk Vol. 10" mixtape for two reasons. First, the music's dope, we're talking Big K.R.I.T., Smoke Dza, Cashius Green, Big Sant, Joey Bada$$, Pro Era and more. Second, Shipes is one of the game's most colorful characters, and since I spend a good amount of my time trying to take y'all behind the scenes of your favorite hip-hop, I thought he deserved a quick personal spotlight. Big K.R.I.T.'s manager, Cinematic Music Group head honcho, Smokers Club organizer, Shipes is a many of many hats. Literally.
