Rap Nerds Unite: Ghostwridah Takes It Back to “1995” (Video)Posted by Nathan S. on 05/18/12 | Filed under Videos, QuickHits, Rap Nerdery, GhostWridah |
As the four thousand rappers who have emailed me freestyles and been frustrated when I didn't post them can tell you, I don't really post freestyles (aka raps over already established production). But there are exceptions to ever rule, and Miami emcee GhostWridah spitting "1995" over Milkbone's "Keep It Real" instrumental, first made famous by Big L's own classic freestyle, is a more than worthy exception.
Wridah's new album, "Downtown Lights", is set to arrive next week, May 22 via the mothership. Until then, enjoy...and rap nerds unite!
