When one of your homeboys is weeks away from being released from prison what’s the first thing you have to do? Design t-shirts celebrating his pending release of course! Well, at least that’s what Young Money’s Gudda Gudda decided to do. Gudda Gudda teamed up with 8AND9 clothing to release two exclusive “Free Weezy” t-shirts.

The “Free Weezy” t-shirt featuring a cake with a hacksaw in it that either has blood on it or red velvet cake remnants is hilarious. If anything it’ll be a good conversation starter. The t-shirt is available in both black and red. The other “Free Weezy” t-shirt has what’s referred to as a more “institutional feel” and consists of a picture of Weezy himself and the words “Free Weezy,” “Free Hip-Hop,” “Free Carter,” and “Free Tunechi.” And on that note I think it’s about time we set some rules and regulations in regards to the number of nicknames rappers should have.

The sleeves of both t-shirts feature the Young Money and 8AND9 logo’s. Both t-shirts sell for $29.89 and can be purchased at 8AND9.com. The “Free Weezy” t-shirts ship free and come with a copy of Gudda Gudda’s mixtape "Back 2 Guddaville", which you don't have to listen to.

I was talking with Danielle about this earlier. I'm not happy Wayne's in jail, and I'm no fan of the prison industry, but not every rapper in jail deserves to go free. Gucci Mane, for example, plead guilty to multiple parole violations. Yep, that's the kind of thing that lands you in jail. Rappers aren't all Nelson Mandela, imprisoned unjustly.

Nathan,

I will be wearing this...PRECISELY because he's being locked up for a law that shouldn't even be on the books in the first place! (it violates the SUPREME LAW OF THE LAND, in particular its Second Amendment)
