Eclectic Jamacia/Russia/DMV/the Globe representers Fly Gypsy recently kicked off 2010 on a live note when they opened for Wale in D.C.'s 9:30 Club on New Year's Day. Watching the dynamic duo do their thing live proves three things: live bands are always better than solo DJs, you really need to go see Fly Gypsy the next time they're in your town, and everyone's using "Empire State of Mind" as their intro music.
