Fashawn “Nothin’ for the Radio” x “Higher Learning 2” Mixtape (Listen & Download)

So....apparently Fashawn's new mixtape, "Higher Learning 2", is coming out today....via XXL (cause that's a site everyone I know goes to)....and the lead single off the project is this "Nothin' for the Radio" joint featuring a relatively simple but still banging beat from J. Cole. Ok then.

While perhaps not the epic collaboration I hoped for, "Nothin' for the Radio" is still everything I could have reasonably hoped it would be. That beat's exactly the type or rider that Fashawn excels over, and he comes through nicely, pacing the record with his usual blend of deepness and street centric bars. (Even if he did bite Andre 3K's "Chiro-prac" line for "Int'l Player's Anthem.")

On second thought, I bet Fashawn felt like he owed XXL for making him a Freshman - that's really the only reason I can think of that he'd drop a project with them. Whatever, y'all don't care about these politics. Enjoy the track, it bangs.
