Fails of the Week: Game’s Latest Travesty, McFadden’s Out of Control Groupie & More!

Schadenfreude is a psychological terms used to describe someone who takes pleasure in the failure of others (aka haters), and while I certainly didn't derive any enjoyment from some of the epic f**k ups below, they were too egregious not to be called out. In the latest of an ongoing series that will include the best...or worst...fails of the week from the world of hip-hop, sports, pop culture and beyond, I examine Game's latest travesty, out of control groupies, apocalyptic sex tapes and much more...

Darren McFadden's Can't Control His Groupies

I'm not a celebrity with women begging to sleep with me, but I do know a couple things about groupie etiquette - like never leave them alone in your house or hotel room. Sadly Darren McFadden, the stud Arkansas running back who's slowly having his career strangled by the Raiders, apparently doesn't know this rule. After scooping up some random chick and (presumably) letting her have it Oakland style, he left said groupie alone in his hotel room - so she did what any smart groupie would do - took pictures of herself wearing his chain and going through his stuff (more pics here). I guess we shouldn't be surprised no Raiders linemen were there to block the pics from leaking.

Laurence Fishburne's Daughter to Release Sex Tape...on Purpose

In this week's latest sign that the apocalypse is imminent, Montana Fishburne, the 19-year-old daughter of actor Laurence Fishburne (the dude from the "Matrix") has a sex tape coming out...that she leaked...on purpose. "I've watched how successful Kim Kardashian became and I think a lot of it was due to the release of her sex tape," said Montana, or as I'll now be referring to her, Montana "sure to die of a coke overdose before 28" Fishburne. Sadly, it's unclear how hot Montana actually is, and/or if anyone would even want to see her in a sex tape. The only thing worse than leaking a sex tape on purpose? Leaking a sex tape on purpose that no one cares about. As a father it's my goal in life to keep my daughter off the pole and off the Real World, so I can only imagine how good Laurence Fishburne's feeling right now. Happy Father's Day!

How Not to Commit Suicide

This is a fail on so many levels it's hard to know where to begin. Obviously anyone who lays down on train tracks has failed at life, but this crazy lady's mental state/state of sobriety is under question, so I can't go much further. Instead, it's the crowd's reaction that I'm fascinated by. First, shout out to the chubby dude in the white t-shirt who sees what's going on and promptly gets the f**k out of there. Hey, we can't all be heroes. (Same goes to you fat guy in the blue shirt who literally stand there with his hands in his pockets. And I'm not sure what to do with the screaming black woman who finally gets the lady to get off the train tracks. I'm pretty sure screaming "Get the fuck up you crazy bitch!" isn't what professionals would recommend you say to someone contemplating suicide, but it worked, so what do the professionals know. Only in NYC, right? Someone cue "New York State of Mind".

Game Likes Girls, Apparently Hates Good Music

There are several kinds of bad tracks. There's "So bad it's secretly good" bad, like Yung Joc's new "Yea Boy". There's "So bad I have to do a feature post talking about how bad it is", like Shyne's "Belize". And then there's "So bad I held onto it for a Fails of the Week mention" bad. Game, welcome to Fails of the Week. What the hell happened to Jayceon? The man was never Nas, but tracks like "I Like Girls" are atrocious even for him. Actually, I have to say his verses are merely bad. It's the hook that really takes it to another level. I wish I was making this up: "My birthday girls, big booty girls, I like girls, that like other girls, I like girls, and they like me." Who's doing your hook writing for you Game, 50 Tyson? God this is terrible. The "R.E.D. Album" needs more work than Heidi Montag if it wants to be even halfway decent when it finally drops.
