Anyway, "Lights Out" proves that even if they talk ish about him, every emcee, even the most lyrical ones out there, secretly, or not so secretly, want to rhyme over some monstrous Gucci Mane/Waka Flaka-esque beats. Waka may go hard in the paint, but Loso goes hard on the mic: "Told her I'm gonna kill it and I use Magnum protection / I just slide up in it baby that's lethal injection / I'm about that money, pussy's what a fool chase / hos will have you tied up, bitch I ain't no shoe lace."

Not Loso's best work - a lot of those lines were cliche for him - but he still manages to get in some good jabs, and there's still no better punchline writer alive. |
