Watch ESPN’s Dope “Fab 5” Documentary Now - As in Right Now (Video)

ESPN's been cranking out some dope documentaries lately, but even though their "30 for 30" series has ended they don't show any signs of slowing down. Last night they revealed their take on the "Fab Five" phenomenon, created by the platers themselves (minus Chris Webber), and thankfully some kind soul has taken it upon himself to rip the video.

We all know it's only a matter of time before the worldwide leader pulls this, so get to watching now. As in right now. Full details about the documentary are under the video:

"In their heyday, the Fab Five were widely portrayed as the root of all evil in college sports. They wore baggy shorts and black socks. They blasted hip-hop music in the locker room. They talked trash. A lot.

Those types of uniforms and behavior might be commonplace today, but 20 years ago it was revolutionary, polarizing and heavily influential to a generation of young athletes. Although the Fab Five never got into serious trouble off the court, the players symbolized to many people a clear shift in the sports world and youth culture. Fans of all races and demographics spent millions of dollars on Michigan jerseys, shorts and the like, trying to capture a tiny slice of the group's mystique. By the end of their second year together, the Fab Five were routinely battered in the national media for the way they carried themselves. Articles and television reports painted them as brash villains or worse -- as thugs."

Great documentary by ESPN. I enjoyed every minute of it. It's so inspiring to watch those guys go what they went through and maintain their composure pretty much throughout the entire process. I think C-Webb got trashed by media and the fans for no reason though. I definitely don't blame him for not taking part in the making of this show.

Sidenote: This whole NCAA rules and regulations on players and accepting gifts etc. etc. etc... is a messed up situation that always leaves the player in a lose-lose situation no matter what the truth is and desperately needs to be fixed.

I was pretty mad that I missed this (Not that mad, cause I had just discovered the awesomeness that is Inglourious Basterds, but I digress.) Thank you very much Nathan.
