Eminem & Lil Wayne Drop Ridiculous “No Love” (Listen & Download)

Eminem
30 seconds into Eminem's new leak "No Love" and the only thing I could think was, "are you fucking kidding me?" Honestly, at first I thought there must be some kind of mistake. This can't be an official track. Not with that ridiculous Hathaway "What Is Love" sample (better known as the song from SNL's "Night at the Roxbury" skits). Nope. This is the real deal. Why the usually dope Just Blaze chose to make such an ill-advised sample the centerpiece of a banger, and how Eminem ok'd it, is beyond me.

The real shame here is that Em and guest Lil Wayne (returning the favor from "Drop the World") actually come pretty damn hard...but honestly, I'm so distracted by the beat I can't really pay attention. Maybe in due time I'll get used to it and grow to appreciate "No Love", maybe, but for the time being all I can say is, really Eminem? Really?? Pink was cool in an unexpected way, but this? Where's Boi-1da when you need him.

Production was a bit off, honestly, this album has some slip ups. Idk who chose pink and why this sample was chosen but the rest of the songs have to be well above this.

first off, why is the beat such a fvckin big deal to you???? Can't you get past one of the most unimportant components of a rap song??? If you care so much about a beat, go listen to Soulja Boy and Gucci.
Second, i thought the sample was dope, but w/e thats just my opinion. And they barely use the sample.
The verses were straight fire, and thats all you should really care about, and a dope ass hook.
I thought it was sick when Eminem and Wayne both said "a little bit sick than most", plus that Kanye line was frickin GREAT

I guess its true what they say! You can't please everyone. C'est la vie. However I am going to have to side with James on this one. The first thing I said when the track started was...Whooaaa oh hell to the no you didn't Em! Then Wayne jumped on and reaffirmed to me that he wasn't slipping anymore. It it just kept getting better and better. The flows from both of them were str8 fire and it didn't take long for the sample to grow on me as well. By the end of the track I was already reaching for repeat. I have peep the majority of the album and I have to say, Em listen to the critics (except the singing) and drops the antics and lyrically just jabs you to death. Much Marked Improvement over Relapse. I will be a satisfied customer on June 22nd.

@james "Can't you get past one of the most unimportant components of a rap song???"

No, I can't, not in this case. All I can see is that SNL skit everytime I listen to the song. It completely ruins it for me. Glad to hear it doesn't for you.

And calling the production "one of the most unimportant components of a rap song" is a little overdone, right? Hip-hop's always been a marriage of DJ and rapper, in fact, hip-hop was built around the DJ long before rappers took centerstage.

If you want to take it there, this has nothing to do with Gucci Mane/Soulja Boy. If the beat is so unimportant, than I guess we can completely ignore the work of Grandmaster Flash, DJ Premier, Dr. Dre, Timbaland, 9th Wonder and the thousands of other producers who have been just as instrumental to this culture as any rapper.

I just can't take this song seriously. Em teared up his last verse, but I swear that sample had my cracking the hell up. The minute I heard the first vocal, I lost it.

Ok after i got over the beat "situation" (too funny). Just blaze what the fuck? neways Em again with the fucking singing ? why? cant he just find someone that can sing and pay, doesn't even have to be someone famous. Actually, it would be more interesting to have someone that could sing that no one knows that way "newbie" gets exposure AND Em gets good chorus.

I actually think of the SNL SKIT..but I think the song is tight. I truthfully don't give a shit if he sang, or not. Critics are critics. Even leaving this comment I could be a critic..What everybody is listening for does this appeal to me. Do I feel this song. DO I LIKE THIS SONG. Fuck yeah. But its so much out there. That's distasteful, hateful, and not good beat wise, lyrically, sung, or anything else. But I can bump my head to this one. MUCH LOVE

I'm so with you on the sample. Distracting as hell. Why is there no Dre production on the album. Did I miss smth?
