Getting the chance to interview legendary hip-hop journalist Elliott Wilson, who's been instrumental in creating and editing The Source, XLL and Rap Radar (how's that for a resume?) would be a big opportunity for anyone, but we happen to know for a fact that for RefinedHype correspondent Quentin Cuff it was the chance to meet with an idol. Quentin met up with Wilson at the recent South By Southwest festival to talk about the past and future of hip-hop journalism, as well as what artists Wilson was most excited to check out at SXSW (XV gains another fan).
