The word "classic" gets thrown around far too lightly these days, but I can say without hesitation that KRS-ONE and Buckshot are too classic emcees in every sense of the word, and as their recent collabo album "Survival Skills" proves, they're still going as strong as ever. With that in mind, Mick Boogie, nVMe and Duck Down Records have joined forces to pay tribute to the two legendary mic killers with the new "Survival Kit" mixtape, a collection of remixes to some of KRS and Buck's most well known songs by the likes of Chaundon, Diz Gibran, Fashawn, Skyzoo, Sha Stimuli, Shawn Chrystopher, Tanya Morgan, The Kid Daytona, Torae and more. All praise due.
