Drake Thank Me Later Album Cover
Damn, another Drake post? Yep. I already laid out my shaky justification on "Fireworks", so I won't rehash it here. Instead, let's just get down to business. Drake's absurdly anticipated debut album "Thank Me Later" has no shortage of huge guest features, but none is bigger than Jay-Z hopping on his new leak "Light Up". From a Drake flow/beat perspective I have to say, the track sounds a lot like "Fireworks", only with sharper drums and no sound effects. Although I do have to give it up to Drizzy for the Fredro Starr reference, at the very least the man knows his hip-hop history. Frankly, Hova's work is far more interesting, as he takes the time to mentor Drake and explains his "I don't do beef" policy. There's a reason Jay's on top.

On a side/related note, I find it amusing when sites pull the "this is the last leak we're posting, you'll have to buy the album for the rest" routine (see "Distant Relatives", "Thank Me Later" etc.). Oh, so now you're taking a moral stand, after you've already posted half the album? Leaking six songs was cool, but seven's crossing the line? That's like a dude who fucks his best friend's girlfriend, sister, and then draws the line at his cousin - "I would never fuck my best friend's cousin, that'd be wrong." If you're gonna post leaks just do it, or don't. There is no halfway. Enough of my rambling, I know you're more interested in the song.

Relatively minimal tags on this one. I'll have the clean version up as soon as it's available.Done, tagless CDQ is below. Who loves ya?

Get your lighters up right now and listen to the track below.
