Dr. Dre & Eminem’s “I Need a Doctor” is Official, But is it a Hit? (Listen & Vote)Posted by Nathan S. on 01/28/11 | Filed under Top Stories, Eminem, Dr. Dre, Radio Ready, I Need a Doctor |

Unfortunately "I Need a Doctor" suffers from a touch of Timbaland syndrome - the headliner's rhymes are by far the weakest part of the cut. In fact, Em's "You saved my life no maybe it's time for me to save yours", and the entire second verse, is one of the more honest lines in hip-hop history. Dr. Dre needs a major hit, and at this point he needs Em to jump start his career again and make "Detox" a legitimate hit. With Alex da Kid and Skylar Grey, who also did "Love the Way You Lie" and T.I.'s "Castle Walls" behind the track history would suggest it'll be a hit, but I'm not so sure. Let's turn it over to RefinedHype Nation.
So here's the deal. The powers that be have let it be known that they'll bring the wrath of god, or at least the wrath of their highly annoying lawyers, down upon any bloggers who post download links. Since I don't especially feel like getting OnSmashed today it's stream only. Of course there will be folks out there who don't care and do post download links, and you know how to use Google, so wink wink, nudge nudge. Or you can pre-order it on Amazon. Either or.
