Donwill Commits a Hip-Hop “Misdemeanor” (Listen & Download)

Don Cusack, a.k.a. Donwill or the tragically underrated crew Tanya Morgan, a.k.a. the group with the girl name, is preparing to release his new solo album "Don Cusack in High Fidelity", but first he's lined up a new mixtape, "Laura's Song", to get the masses properly excited. The first leak off the the mixtape is the heartbrokwn "Misdemeanor", an old school r&b meets rap track that I guarantee will fulfill your "well, I haven't heard this before" criteria.

Ok, just in case you didn't get it on your own, quick reference breakdown. First, Donwill's alias and the album are obviously a reference to John Cusack's movie "High Fidelity", a flick about a music-obsessed guy who works in a record store. To land the woman of his dreams, Laura, he makes her a mixtape (hence the name of the Donwill's mixtape ("Laura's Tape") and his album's lead single "Laura's Song). Follow all that?

Oh, and I know what you're thinking, but no, that's not a Jackson 5 sample. It's actually a sample of a song called "Misdemeanors" by a group called Foster Sylvers, a Jackson 5 rip-off band that had been largely forgotten by history...until now.
