DMX Makes “Y’All Ni**az Bounce” (Listen & Download)

DMX
I'm warning you, if you don't want to be depressed stop reading and skip to another post (might I recommend this or this, they're both lovely). I'm not even really sure why I'm writing this, other than that after watching that dope Behind the Music with DMX I'm not intensely interested in all things DMX again. So when his new track "Y'all Ni**az Bounce" found its way onto the interwebs, I actually paused before I pressed play and said a silent prayer. "Please sweet baby jesus," I whispered, "let this be a good track so I don't have to worry about X anymore." Well sweet baby jesus has forsaken me, because "Y'all Bounce" is terrible. I don't know if it's because X doesn't care anymore, or his skills have somehow just dissipated, but we're now getting about 50 % of DMX in his prime.

The best analogy is to a formerly great, now aging boxer who refuses to hang up his gloves and keeps getting back in the ring, only to be pummeled by younger, lesser fighters. I want to see X comeback, I really do, but I'd frankly rather see him retire than keep getting worked like this. I warned you this shit was going to be depressing.

As a new official matter of RefinedHype policy, I'm not posting anymore Earl Simmons unless it's dope. Let's all just pretend like he's not making music anymore until the situation improves.

That hook is actually kinda funny and cool, can't say the same about the verses though.
