Here in the good 'ol U.S. of A we're slowly but surely losing our appreciation for the art form that is DJing (R.I.P. Fat Beats), but ironically folks overseas still have rep the culture with the fervor of '80s b-boys. All that means that DJs, even legendary ones, often struggle to fill clubs in America put play to sold out stadiums in Europe and Asia. So while some might be surprised that this ridiculously dope DJ Premier vs. Pete Rock battle went down in Japan, you really shouldn't be.
