Dead Prez See “The Beauty Within” (Listen & Download)

Technically dead prez dropped their new mixtape single "The Beauty Within" as a Mother's Day tribute (happy slightly belated Mother's Day!), but seeing as how it's about women in general, and not just moms, I thought we could easily drop it a day late. Actually, come to think of it, considering "The Beauty Within" is essentially a "Mind Sex" part two, it's a little creepy to involve Mother's Day. Hey, I guess moms need lovin too.

Anyway, "The Beauty Within" features the formerly revolutionary, then revolutionary but gangsta and now just basically gangsta dead prez going in over a remix to B.o.B.'s smash "Nothin' On You". "Beauty" is set to drop off their DJ Drama affiliated "Revolutionary But Gangsta Grillz" mixtape due out June 10. Back in the day when you were bumping "Hip-Hop" did you ever think the day would come when dead prez was involved in anything Grillz-ish? Me neither. I miss the old days.
