Danny!‘s New Single Is So Good It’s “Evil” (Listen)

How quickly things change. Just a couple weeks ago I had to admit that I'd never really listened to Danny! Then I took the time to really dig through the man's catalog and boom, just like that, I've got a new "I gotta listen to this dude's new shit" artist.

New single, "Evil", juxtaposes some pretty soulful production (flute solo!) with some of the darker rhymes you're going to hear from Danny, complete with some vocal assistance from Gavin Castleton and Amber Tamblyn.

Seriously thought, that production is next level - it sounds like Timbaland if Timbaland had kept making hip-hop music. The man's a true double threat, and his new album, "Payback", is due to drop via the fine folks at OkayPlayer on September 25. In the meantime, enjoy...
