D'Angelo's "Voodoo" was the best R&B/soul album of the 2000s, it's not even really a debate. So watching the man go from this to this was excruciatingly painful, except now there's hope! Sure, D'Angelo's first performance in years featured very little of the man actually singing, and it took place in Sweden, but still.....now I get to go back to irrationally hoping for another album!
Seriously though. Everyone always talks about a Lauryn Hill comeback, but if I could pick one artist to make another album (that would be as good as their classic last album) I'd take D'Angelo over Lauryn.
