Cypress Hill Flies High on New “Uprising” Mixtape (Listen & Download)

Damn, for a crew of stoners Cypress Hill sure knows how to work hard. Only a few weeks after the release of their new album "Rise Up", which has to be counted among the best of their careers, the consummate west coast are back yet again with their brand new mixtape "The Uprising". (Get it?) Along with some of the all-time great Cypress tracks - twenty years after it's release "Hand on the Pump" still bangs - "Uprising" contains remixes and covers from some of hip-hop's most notable players. Like who? Glad you asked. How does Yelawolf, Asher Roth, Jim Jones, Styles P, Sheek Louch, Noreaga, and more sound? (I don't know why I'm asking so many rhetorical questions.)

Hmmm....I wonder why all the live tracks on this mixtape are from Amsterdam? Just a coincidence, I'm sure.
