It's not really clear why CyHi The Prynce took a bit of a hiatus for a few months, but one thing is certain and that is he's definitely still got it lyrically. Last month's "The Open Letter (Freestyle)" may have left a little to be desired, but CyHi's followup "Open Letter 2" is on point. This track is just brimming with witty lyricism. How about, "Every scripture that I give you is a picture you can post my sh*t on Instagram?" Or the equally clever "God blessed me so many times you would have swore I had allergies." And there's plenty more where those came from.

The production on "Open Letter 2" is pleasant, literally. It reminds me of bike rides on the beach and Girl Scouts selling lemonade from homemade stands. I think something a little more aggressive would have fit the song a little better, but the beat is still pretty smooth.
