After dropping his last mixtape Atlanta rapper CyHi The Prynce seemed to drop off the radar for a bit, but he's finally made his triumphant return thanks to the Atlanta anthem "A-Town." When an artist drops an anthem for their city it's usually very hit or miss. Thankfully though "A-Town" is very much a hit and I have to give CyHi a tremendous amount of props for flipping the Atlanta Braves' war chant and putting it in a rap song. As iconic as the Braves are to the city of Atlanta I'm very surprised that this is the first time (that I know of) that the chant has been included in a Hip-Hop track.

There really is something about CyHi that makes his presence on songs hella enjoyable. I'm not sure if it's that unique rasp in his voice or his clever lyricism, but he seems to always grab the spotlight on a song and he of course does just that on "A-Town." And while I hate to admit it Travis Porter actually make for a welcomed addition on "A-Town." On the song CyHi mentions the "new Atlanta" and Travis Porter are exactly that so why not feature them on the song. And that B.o.B verse is merely the icing on the cake.
