After what has literally been years
Kid Cudi has finally released his much anticipated track "
Dose Of Dopeness" produced by none other than
Dot Da Genius. And I have to admit that Cudi's track is exactly that, a dose of dopeness. It's kind of weird though because after hearing "Dose Of Dopeness" it seems like '08 Cudi was way doper lyrically than present-day Cudi. And that must be a bit awkward as an artist.
My only gripe with "Dose Of Dopeness" is all the extra talking Cudi does. Couldn't all that have been turned into an extra verse? We don't need a play by play on you approaching a potential love interest. It kind of takes away from the whole dose of dopeness thing you've got going. Regardless, it's still a pretty hot song and as usual Dot Da Genius' production seems to suit Cudi perfectly.
Side Note: I get the feeling that I'm completely alone on this one, but is anyone else getting
a "Titanic" vibe from the "Dose Of Dopeness" cover art?
