Catching the F**k Up on Co$$ & “Next Chapter” (Listen & Download)

One of the biggest shames of hip-hop digital era is the whiplash-inducing expiration date on music. If I even dare post a song 48 hours after it was first leaked I already prepare for a flood of "yo, this is old" comments. So when I can, I like to slow the fuck down and catch the fuck up one some dopeness I missed in the avalanche of new material. Case in point, Co$$' and "Next Chapter".

When the L.A. emcee dropped his "Instrument of Emotion" album in December (A month ago! That's basically old school) it got lost amongst the barrage of 4th quarter releases, but now that I've heard "Next Chapter", which didn't make the project simply because of some delays on the mix, I realize I might have missed something major. If all the beats are as good as what Knxledge laid down here, and all the rhymes as good as this, the album's got to be something serious.
