Clipse and Rick Ross Declare “I’m Good Remix” (Video)

Posted by Nathan S. on 11/03/09 | Filed under Videos, Rick Ross, Clipse

As unbelievable as it might sound, it looks like the Clipse actually are going to drop their long-long-awaited album "Till the Casket Drops" on December 8, either that or they're really wasting their time on all these videos. In their latest cinematic gem, the brothers Malice and Pusha bring on Ricky Ross for some club-based celebration on the remix to their addictively catchy "I'm Good". I'm not sure I like it quite as much as "Popular Demand", but this video's still some good times (even if it is strangely devoid of coke references).

The Refined Take:

1) Cam'ron killed his verse, but I'm more than a little surprised that Rick Ross didn't request a feature on "Popular Demand (Popeyes)"...you know, cause the song mentioned food...and he's really fat....sorry, I just can't help myself.
2) I can't front, hitting a club with the Clipse looks like damn good times. I'm just saying, the next time you're in L.A. guys feel free to give me a call.
3) The video's good, but there's really nothing special about it, which is my worst feat for the album as a whole. I like everything I've heard so far, but I nothing's made me say "damn, only the Clipse could do that (unlike the new school "Hell Hath No Fury"). Oh well, looks like I'll just have to wait another month and hear the truth for myself.
4) Best moment of the video, hand down: At about the 4:00 minute mark Rick Ross jokingly pretends to jump on Malice's back, and Malice quickly moves away with a "I'll laugh it off cause we're on camera but that shit was scary" look on his face. Good times, good times.
