Weekend Edition: RefinedHype's most popular pieces of the week, running from Saturday to Monday morning.

Now that's more like it. I'll take some Childish Gambino like "We Ain't Them" over "Unnecessary" and day. The man's strong suit is just inarguably more personal, autobiographical tracks. That doesn't mean Gambino can't go hard, but "We Ain't Them" is the kind of shit I connect with much more strongly.

"Waka, Jeezy, and Future got the streets locked down / Copycats making sure Tip keep that crown."

That, sir, is an excellent point, I couldn't agree more. I'll definitely be checking out Gambino's upcoming mixtape, but considering ti doesn't yet have a title or release date, I'd frankly just forget it exists until it suddenly appears one day. p.s. - I have no idea what that art work means, but I dig it. Oh...fucking obvious. Drake is the "them" and that kid is the "we" (aka. we're not dudes like Drake drinking out of fucking golden chalices).
