Charles Hamilton Instructs Us To “Press C” (Listen/Download)

Upon reading the title "Press C," the first thing that I thought of were those four yellow buttons on the Nintendo 64 controller (which evolved into their own little analog stick in the Gamecube era). But, of course, Charles Hamilton is a Sega man; the Genesis "C" button was the one that made everyone's favorite spiky blue guy perform his Super Sonic Spin attack

But anyway, we're talking about the latest in a series of leaks leading up to the release of Charles Hamilton's next single. This one's worth slipping on the headphones for - in addition to being based around a sample that just about anyone who's played Sonic will recognize, the beat features some trippy stereo effects on the percussion (happy 4/20, kids!). On the other hand, I'm not sure how much weed I'd have to smoke to find Hamilton's singing voice bearable.
