Cee Lo Green has one of the most unique singing voices in music so I find it kinda hard to find a song from him I don't like especially when he's really "sangin." And "Bridges," which likely didn't make the cut for his "Lady Killer" album, is another winner for the part-Gnarls Barkley part-Goodie Mob member. As opposed to a song like "F**k You," "Bridges" has much less pop appeal to it (thank the heavens). On "Bridges" Cee Lo croons about holding hands in harmony and what not to a surprisingly mellow
The Neptunes beat. The song will be featured on Cee Lo's "It's OK" EP.
New Cee Lo Green is always a good look, but it always seems to bring up two things: the fact that Cee Lo seems to have ditched the rapping altogether and that we've yet to hear anything about this Goodie Mob album the guys said they were gonna put out. If we can't even get a Goodie Mob album then we can probably forget about Outkast reuniting for another album. That being said I'm gonna need for our Southern Hip-Hop icons to get it together.
Side Note: If you've listened to "Bridges" at least two times in a row chances are pretty high that the "ba-da-bup-bup-ba-da" part will be stuck in your head all day. I've already found myself randomly singing it.
