Between my work on the mothership and RefinedHype I literally get hundreds of emails a day - plus I've got a Google Alert set for "Rosa Acosta" that takes up a lot of my time. In all that madness it's inevitable that I'm going to lose track of some deserving artists now and again, but that doesn't mean we can't catch the fuck up.

Case in point, NYC emcee T-Shirt. Perhaps best know on these pages for that one uber-NSFW video, or that one time he rhymed about every movie ever, Shirt's been continuing to crank out some dope new shit. In addition to new video "The Rip Tide", a visual/audio flip of Beirut's original, he's also keeping his east coast roots close on new release "Butterfly Collar": "Killin everything that come across my desk / till I'm $100 million or more in debt". Hey, dream big or don't dream at all.
