(IJuelz isn't on the track, but I'll take any opportunity I can get to post this pic)
Just when you thought the beef game was dead and buried, the last few months have seen more beef being carved up than a Benihanna. (And no, I'm not even counting Nick Cannon's ridiculousness as beef.) Seemingly out of nowhere, Diplomats and once again BFFs Cam'ron and Jim Jones decided to start firing shots at Kanye over his "Runaway" instrumental on "Toast". Um....ok. Does anyone know what's going on here?
First off, dem be fightin words: "Kanye, you a sucka nigga / Dissed Dame, so my attitude, fuck a nigga / Sucka, Jigga / How you gon' live with that? / Took ya beat, now come get it back."
For the record, that means Cam just rhymed "nigga" with "nigga" and "Jjigga", and then "that" with "back". Not exactly a legendary performance. Anyway, what I'd really like to figure out is why.
I know Diplomats have had a simmering beef brewing with Jay since their Roc-A-Fella days, but the Kanye shots feel random, especially since Kanye produced for Cam on "Diplomatic Immunity", "Come Home With Me" and "Purple Haze", plus invited Cam to appear on "Late Registration". Apparently they're taking issue with something Yeezy said about the completely broke Dame Dash - does anyone know what? And suddenly they're soldiers for Dame? This feels to me like they're just trying to get attention, and Kanye's getting more press than anyone right now, so they picked him out of the crowd.
This is a disgrace, so what their BFFs again now we have to suffer through another "Dipset for life" beef and now they're D-riding Dame? for a comment from Ye that may or may not exist? Childsplay and since I have yet to say this, I'll say it now Jim Jones and Cam were always horrible at rhyming. the only reason Juelz is excluded is due to him associating with Wayne (I'm not even a fan of Wayne).
If Ye's said statement angers them so much, then how about they pay off his mountains of debt? Oh wait, they can't. But guess who can? Jay and Yeezy.

Until I see these two selling performing at stadiums with the likes of Drake Eminem & all the others and finishing off the VMA's...then I'll pay respect. Until then, this isn't the 90's beef doesn't raise your status anymore.

First thing i thought was more Kanye publicity. Funny how things like this tend to play out next to an albums release huh?

Hmmmm....I love the "Kanye's paying them to start beef for publicity reasons" conspiracy theory from @FeelNopaIn. Now that's an original hypothesis.

Never liked Dipset, especially Jim. I guess they heard Kanye calling their name, so the douchebags and jerkoffs felt it necessary to jump on his beat.

yeah, sorry to Dipset fans, but Kanye would for sure beat the sh*t out of Jim Jones in a rap battle. I guess Cam could put up a fight, and i definitely like him more than jim jones. This song isn't all that special, either. I don't think this is going to be that big.
