B.o.B. Can’t Be Contained by “No Genre” (Mixtape Listen & Download)

Two years ago Bobby Ray was toiling away outside of the spotlight with his versatility serving as more of a detriment than a help (a.k.a. labels had no idea how to market him). Now? Now he's one of, if not the, most popular new musicians in the game, a man whose ability to sing, rap, play the guitar etc. etc. etc. has launched him to the top of the charts. As a middle finger to all those who doubted him, B.o.B.'s now driving the point home with his new mixtape, "No Genre", which came out just a shade too late to qualify for the RefinedHype Awards.

"No Genre" includes guests work from Donnis, T.I., Bun B, Cy Hi, Playboy Tre, the whole All City Chess Club crew and more. Beats come to us from B.o.B. himself, Infinity, Jim Jonsin, Dr. Luke and many more.

I continue to be mystified about major label artists' inability to release a simple mixtape (see Wale, J. Cole, etc. etc.). B.o.B. officially dropped "No Genre" via a SendSpace link, but all the files were MP4s, not MP3s (oops). Then XXL jumped in, reuploaded the mixtape with MP3s, and claimed they were officially involved in the release (they weren't). The good news is that XLL still doesn't know how to protect their download links, so now y'all get to directly download the project super quick at XXL's expense. Rap Blog Nerds Unite!!!
