It'll be interesting to see how B.o.B.'s upcoming "Strange Clouds" album does. The man's obviously far more established than when he put out hugely selling "The Adventures of Bobby Ray", but nothing drive album sales like hit singles, and B.o.B. had two of 2011's biggest with "Nothin On You" and "Airplanes".
So far the music we've heard off "Strange Clouds", like the Weezy-assisted title track, has been long on style but short on hit potential. "So Good" to the rescue!
If Bobby learned anything from "Nothin On You", it's that women buy music, and women love being told their special, so he rinses, lathers and repeats the "Nothin On You" formula on "So Good" - although this has a far more polished and less personal feel than "Nothing".
My prediction? It'll chart well, but it won't be that number one (or maybe even top ten) hit he's so obviously looking for. Let's get RefinedHype Nation on their Nostradamus shit too:
