Anyone who's followed Blu, well, ever, knows better than to expect anything from the man. Blu releases music whenever, wherever, and the quality of the music can flip-flop more often than Mitt Romney.

So when Blu drops some new dopeness you grab it immediately and appreciate it. "The Great Escape" is some new dopeness. Not only does Blu once again comes through on the mic, his partner in rhyme Exile pulls double duty, throwing down a hell of a beat and a verse of his own. Add in guest appearances from Homeboy Sandman and ADAD and you've got the best track of the day. Yeah, I know it's only noon on the west coast, but still...

"The Great Escape" is a standout cut from Blu and Exile's "Give Me My Flowers While I Can Still Smell Them” album which dropped yesterday via Fat Beats.
