Blu Transcends Hip-Hop’s Golden Idols on “A Man” (Listen)Posted by Nathan S. on 07/19/12 | Filed under Downloads, Blu, Exile |

We've heard a lot of hip-hop tackles religion tracks over the years, Talib Kweli's "Hostile Gospel" always comes to mind for me, but there haven't been many that are as musically precise and lyrically complex as "The Man". This is Blu at his best, and when he's at his best, he's as good as anyone.
A Man be found on the Dirty Science/Fat Beats EP "Maybe One Day", and it will also be included in Blu and Exile’s upcoming album, "Give Me My Flowers While I Can Still Smell Them", due out on September 4. Hardcore Blu and Exile heads can also check out "The Creation of Blu & Exile’s Below the Heavens [Five-Year Anniversary]".
