VH1 Revisits “Behind The Music: Notorious B.I.G” & Airs New Evidence Surrounding His Murder (Video)Posted by Danielle Harling on 05/03/12 | Filed under Video, Notorious B.I.G., Television |
It's been nearly 20 years since Brooklyn rapper Notorious B.I.G. was gunned down in Los Angeles and the details surrounding his death are just as mysterious as ever. And as part of the newest season of VH1's "Behind The Music" the docu-series is revisiting past episodes by including newer footage and commentary. And among those episodes is "Behind The Music: Notorious B.I.G." which originally aired well over a decade ago in 2001.
Unlike the first "Behind The Music: Notorious B.I.G.", the episode which aired this week features evidence from former LAPD detective Greg Kading which pinpoints Suge Knight as the mastermind behind Biggie's murder. Now Knight's name has come up numerous times in the case, but Kading claims to have pretty solid evidence which includes a confession from Knight's former girlfriend.
It's definitely interesting hearing Kading's evidence surrounding Biggie's death, but I think it's suffice to say that no one will ever be locked up for his death or Tupac's for that matter. It's been far too long and I'm pretty sure this is a closed case in the LAPD's eyes. Although I do think that sooner or later someone's guilty conscious might become a little too much to bear and maybe then we'll finally get some answers.
