I've promised myself that I'll always keep it real with RefinedHype Nation, so I won't even front, my favorite part of Big K.R.I.T.'s new "Thank You Kindly" is The DJBooth shout out at the 1:26 mark. Am I really so shallow that I'm stoked off a one second shout out that most people probably won't even pick up on? You're motherfucking right I am. As "Kindly" outlines, it takes a vast network of people to help make any artist successful, but I've put in some serious hours working with K.R.I.T.

More than just the day in and day out posts, the mothership exclusively first put out "K.R.I.T. Wuz Here", sponsored K.R.I.T.'s now famous first SOBs show, had him headline our A3C show, I've reviewed every project he's done and more. Add it all up and I'm directly or indirectly responsible for [way] less than 1% of K.R.I.T.'s success, which is about the equivalent of a one-second shout out on a loose single, so fucks yeah, I'll take it - even considering the irony of turning a song all about appreciation and humility into a self-centered salute to myself.



For those who don't give a fuck about by narcissistic ramblings (aka everyone), enjoy some more dopeness from Krizza and celebrate the fact that "Live From the Underground" is the number one rap album in the country right now, and the 5th highest selling album overall. That is a very, very good thing for hip-hop - on behalf of the culture, massive respect to K.R.I.T. Thank you for all the dope music Krizza. Enjoy...
