While
Big K.R.I.T. is one of those artists who seems like they can never do any wrong musically, I have to admit that I am a little on the fence when it comes to K.R.I.T.'s latest release "Boobie Miles." "Boobie Miles," which is the first release off of K.R.I.T.'s upcoming mixtape "4evaNaDay," is a saxophone-heavy jam that's inspired by famed high school football player James "Boobie" Miles.
My only major gripe with "Boobie Miles" is the production. While nothing's wrong with a smooth, laid back beat I feel like this one is a little too much on the drowsy side. K.R.I.T. of course goes in lyrically, but the lyrics he's dropping seem to get lost thanks to a beat which sounds like it'd be better suited for a "Bold & The Beautiful" episode that dates back to the early 90's.
Big K.R.I.T.'s "4evaNaDay" will be released on February 20th.
Nathan Update: I should mention the history here - KRIT also sampled Boobie on the intro to "
Hometown Hero".
